Uncle Murt is a relative of Shorty who takes on the appearance of a scary tree.

In Forest of No Return, Shorty sees a tree that says the title of the episode on it and comments, "That is one scary tree. Reminds me of my Uncle Murt. He too was a scary tree." We have little information on this character, but he was mentioned at the very least.
