Ulla is the recurring character of Varian and the Seven Kingdoms. Ulla is the member of Old Corona, a village located in Corona and is the wife of Quirin, and the mother of Varian. In Varian and the Seven Kingdoms, the main objective is for Team Radical to get to her. She is guessed to be a good person until Varian finds her and gets possessed, making her the main antagonist of Varian and the Seven Kingdoms.
Background[]
Ulla is a character who is not shown most of the time, but has a lot of importance to the actual plot. She may show up in flashbacks, as only a voice, or in drawings throughout Varian and the Seven Kingdoms, but she did appear in Queen for a Day in a painting of Varian's family when he was only an infant. She is only physically present at the very end or beginning of the series. She was going to be a part of the comic, but after Disney never greenlit it, fans made fan-fictions, fan art, and music to keep the story alive. She is described as adventurous, and is much of a risk-taker. She loves her husband and son, but always had the urge to explore the world and explore. In the original story, Ulla wanted more than just taking care of a family behind closed doors. So one day she vanished to explore with her research partner, Donella, leaving only a note. She then went missing after a disagreement with Donella. Years later, Varian found his mother's journal along with the note that she had left behind. Eventually, Varian comes to find her in the Eternal Library which usually shows her with green or blue powers. That's when she possesses Varian and makes him attack his friends, mainly Hugo.
Appearance[]
Varian and the Seven Kingdoms[]
Ulla is always shown with long red hair with a small braid that's placed almost like a headband. She has blue eyes, and she has warm skin with blush and freckles on it. She had dark red/brown eyebrows, a pointed nose, and red lips. She also has a face with a pointed chin, like Varian. Her clothes don't vary much as she only uses one outfit throughout the entire series. She wears a worn out dark turquoise dress with a buttoned top in a lighter color. She also has a light grey apron held by a dark blue strap. For her pants she wears light blue ones with what appears to be dark grey bandages that resemble the look Varian had in season 1 of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure.

Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure[]
In the show she is a little different. She has her red hair in a tight bun, and she has no freckles at all. Her eye color and hair length can't be estimated from the only image provided. She wears an off white shirt with white gloves and a red top with thick straps.
