The creature was the royal seal of Equis by King Trevor.
In In Like Flynn, he was later freed by Eugene Fitzherbert and King Frederic as part of their plan to get back at Trevor for his own pranks on Frederic.
In The Brothers Hook, Trevor Jr. marries a mate he met in the ocean. Hook Hand performs at his wedding.
