Hazel and Primrose were the fraternal triplet sisters of the infamous Gothel. They had lived happily with their younger triplet sister for many decades, during which they stumbled upon the mystical Sunflower of the Heavens itself. Once both sisters fell ill to a fatal and terminal disease, a desperate Gothel had sought out the powerful Sundrop spell of healing and life from her late mother's letters, which unfortunately, was nowhere near effective enough to save her other two hafts of herself.
Ergo, Gothel had abducted the earthly personification of the now-powerless Sunflower, in order to draw the boundless strength from the newborn princess' nautically long blonde hair (which was, in fact, the all-powerful Sundrop Flower reborn).
